Mike
song about my sister...plain and simple. pretty emotional Sister Sister © Written by Concept (Chorus) Sister Sister Why won’t you talk to me? I like when we’re cool and we can talk freely Sister Sister Why wont you leave me be? It’s stressful to see your negativity Sister Sister Why can’t you change? Cause nowadays you’re always acting so strange I walked downstairs one morning actually many I was hungry for food and there sat plenty Tried to grab a plate but it was way over there I asked if you could pass it and all you did was stare Not even at me but straight at your plate I tried to think the reason why you would hesitate So I asked you again, maybe you didn’t hear You scolded me with anger I was stricken with fear Did I do something to get you offended? I didn’t think I did so I just pretended That I did not care, but what you were not aware Is that I thought your attitude was just not fair (Chorus) Sister, sister you don’t seem to talk At a party or with friends you just sit or you walk Say a couple of words only when you’re forced Like when asked a question then you make it war Answer with a look and a bad attitude And that look is so bad and it’s stale like food Like everything we say gets you pissed I remember days of fun and those days are missed What’s wrong with me now? Im still your brother You always got the least to say unless you conflict with others But if I mistake your first on my case But if you make a mistake I don’t get in your face I don’t want trouble im not hear to diss It just bothers me how you act like this I love you sis (Chorus) You’re not always bad sometimes you’re good And you show emotions I didn’t think you could Like the times you smile like a kid with a toy You’d be surprised how that moment brings the family joy And the times you let me come in your room And I can feel safe and not feel doom It’s a great feeling to watch a movie with you When we hang out and got nothing to do Take a ride to the store and listen to tunes Roll down the windows, blast the music in June Sister, sister I live for those moments But it seems tat fun times don’t last, now don’t it I hope that changes for the days to come Because I really enjoy when we can have fun So sister, sister I leave you with this I like the old you and that’s the one I miss

Members willsmithandjazz4life
It's good nice flow but as I was reading it I realized not all of the verses where the same. Shouldn't each verse be 16 bars with an 8 bar chorus. But, other then that it was an over all good message/song.
Mike
it doesnt matter how long each verse is, they dont have to be the same. unless theres something i dont know
Members willsmithandjazz4life
Well it is because it makes it better nd the song to be the right length it is suppose to be 16 bars.
Big Willie
Well it is because it makes it better nd the song to be the right length it is suppose to be 16 bars. What are you talking about? The amount of lines doesnt make a difference. Concept, good song, good show of emotion, good job.

Turntable
Well I agree its handy if the verses have about the same number of lines (Eeven tho it aint nececarry. Just sounds better to some). But its not true at all that it has to be 16 Bars. Allot of Hip Pop songs are based on 16 Bars a verse, but allot of songs also feauture 30 bars a verse or something like that. If your featured on a R&B song tho, than its mostly about 16 Bars.
