JumpinJack AJ
Life is full of ups, downs, twists, and turns. We are all different ages, races, and from different parts of the world, but we have one thing in common. We come across pitfalls and times in life where we just don't know what 2 do or what direction 2 take. When u hit a place in life when u are looking for advice, direction, or an opinion, post it here. No matter how serious or silly it is, that's what your family is here 4. We've all gone thru' different experiences and someone on this board is bound 2 have some good advice.

mfuqua23
I need some advice, and it needs to stick in my mind. With there being so many artists (good and bad), from the lowest of the nobodys to the #1 mainstream artists, how to keep your confidence and all things of that sorts maintained, even when it all seems pointless??? I battle this often, which is why I think I'm not doing as good or as much as I should. Edited October 15, 2006 by mfuqua23
Turntable
Because you do it caus you love it. If you'll end up earning your money with it, thats great, but if not.. dont be crushed. Just keep doing it caus you enjoy it.

KevTastic
I'm wanting to start my own small business. But i just don't know where to start. Has anyone considered taking this route themselves and how did you get started.
Turntable
I'm from a family that does that all the time. Based on the direction you wanna go, you need a solid concep (There are places that you can go to judge your concept). You also need to do research about how much money you will have to spend, when you start and while you are running it. And you need to think of a location based on you concept, and your audience. That are the first steps. That takes a while allready.
KevTastic
Cheers dude. I've been reading a Small Business Guide book, so much crap in there though. I need to do plenty of market research for a start.

Jazzy Julie
k i have something i need help with, i sound like a bit of a tard asking this but oh well. Theres this guy i like and he comes into the vets where i work (yes im sad but im in work so much how else am i supposed to meet people lol). He brings his nans dog in all the time for blood tests. People at work keep telling me to ask him out (it is allowed), but the problem is, i do a blood test on the dog then tell him results and the dose of some medication. i just cant seem to chat him up in a vets with a knee length green nurse outfit on lol. Im gonna start by asking him his name by slipping it into conversation and introduce myslef next time hes in. But i dont know how to ask him out. Would u guys think it was weird if a vet nurse asked u out when at the vets?
